I had been practicing channeled writing for a few years but nothing ever took off in the way of fluidity. The messages were fascinating but there wasn’t a flow. Fast forward a few years and I picked up Lesley M. Kaye’s book Diary of a Scribe to the Universe. In her book it was mentioned several times that if you can channel messages, you should channel messages. I felt challenged to give it a try. So I got out an almost new Composition notebook, sat down and wrote:

“Am I supposed to be a Scribe, channeling messages from the Universe?”

The answer was “When you are ready, scribe away.”

And from there I took off.

There is a free eBook promotion for Diary of a Scribe to the Universe running on Monday, November 11 and Tuesday, November 12. If you would like to take advantage of this free offer find more information here.

Here is the review I wrote on Amazon:

I have just completed my “first” reading of Lesley M. Kaye’s Diary of a Scribe to the Universe. I call it my first read because there is so much to absorb that I want to go back through it and savor it a little at a time. The start of the book read like poetry to me and I felt it really opened up my heart and allowed a better understanding of the discourse. I swear I actually felt my heart opened. Being a “wannabe” scribe myself I highlighted 11 times that Yahvey challenges others to “Let there be one long call for all to hear and follow, to rise and scribe and live their, our, lives in peace” and “let others know so that they too may take up their pens, their quills, and scribe as you do.” I feel the challenge and the call to pick up the pen myself. What I found extremely rewarding in Kaye’s book is her personal account of her feelings as she was scribing. Her questioning of the discourse, or feelings around the activity of scribing; like a “how-to” for others that heed the call to scribe themselves. I think Kaye is leading the way and helping us open up to our own abilities to scribe using her experience as a springboard. I will read this book over and over and turn to it when I need encouragement and/or clarity! Well done Ms. Kaye!
