I have been feeling the love from humanity with the recent weather events in our country.  Many of my friends were directly affected by Hurricane Helene.  Places, and homes, where I’ve lived were directly affected. Although many areas in Florida have been hit with hurricanes in the past, I am feeling it more this time because I’ve lived in these places and I know these people. It has been devastating but also heartwarming to see the outpouring of love and support for each other in these times of crisis.  They are not fighting with each other (that I have heard about) – they are getting support from each other and from FEMA and their community.

I try not to engage on Facebook or social media when it comes to politics. It’s an impossible fight.  However, in a moment of weakness, I responded to a post that blames immigrants and Ukraine for not providing FEMA money to disaster areas.  What I researched showed that news to be false and so I offered my “proof” to this post.  Then another person responded with their “proof” of what their research showed them. And then I realized, what I already knew, it’s an impossible fight.  We are not going to agree on the “truth.”   We are going to find articles that prove our side.  Prove our belief.  One post said they don’t like a certain news outlet because it leans left.  I’m like “so?”  I mean, “You’re not going to believe the truth because you don’t like the way it leans?”  Maybe the truth leans left?  Does that make it untrue?  But the same goes for me.  If I read something I don’t like, I tend not to believe it.  So I will keep researching to find what I “hope” to be the truth.

I believe I have shared in a previous post that I am currently writing my next book, Free to Be, in addition to self-publishing my book, Back to Being.  The following is an excerpt from my next book, Free to Be.  I wanted to share this because it seems to be so timely.  It speaks to discernment and the love that binds us.  Both I’ve experienced this past week.

Discernment.

All of humanity needs to learn discernment as part of its evolutionary process.  Here’s why.  For thousands of years, mankind has been following.  Following religious leaders, scientists and philosophers, speakers with charisma, political figures, parents, peers, teachers, therapists, doctors, and celebrities!  Following everybody except themselves.  Sheep! In sickness, many follow doctors’ advice even though they might question it.  They say to themselves the doctor knows best.  Maybe, maybe not.  Religious figures may describe a vengeful, opinionated, judgmental God.  You may know this to be fake news but are afraid you’ll be wrong and incite this revengeful God.  Therapists may advise you to ignore an issue when what you need to do is face it head-on.

These times, in 2024, are rife with inconsistencies, falsities, and fake news  Why?  Is the world going crazy?  Yes, the world is going crazy for you.  FOR humanity’s evolution. Why? To learn discernment.  To learn to navigate through the falsities, to find your center, to find yourself in the chaos.  To learn.  To experience.  To grow.  Everyone is going to experience these chaotic times in their own personal way.  Your soul chose to be born into the “arena” of chaos where you would experience the most growth according to your soul’s needs.  So you chose Ukraine, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and the U.S. You chose the community for the opportunity to advance your soul’s growth.  To strengthen your vibration.  To learn.  You chose it. This is a lifelong lesson and a many-life lesson.  Let’s say you chose to stand firm in a conviction and were persecuted for your stance. That is a lesson.  Let’s say you didn’t listen to your body and instead followed a doctor’s advice and died unnecessarily, because you didn’t listen to yourself.  Let’s say you have a sickness and you listen only to yourself and not the doctor and consequently die, when had you taken some medical advice you would have been cured.  This kind of lesson may take many lifetimes, many lessons until you finally learn to “know”.

Would it have been more helpful to humanity had Jesus reasoned or bargained with Pontius Pilate and avoided death?  Or was his death a significant lesson for those times?

Always remember you are living in this time.  Decisions and discernment will be appropriate for this time.  You must live in the time you are in.  Navigate through the times you are in.  Don’t think backward, go forward with your thinking.  How do you negotiate in these times? With these issues and these leaders and political figures?  How do YOU navigate through them?  Your friends and neighbors may navigate in totally different ways.  Remember what binds you together though, is you are all part of the vibration of the Universe. The strongest vibration is that of LOVE.  What will bind you is being in the LOVE vibration.  Know that about each other, know every one of you is on the same path of growth and enlightenment, and know all paths are different.  All are different.  But/and all make up the one! Get it?  You’re all part of One.  You all make the world go round.  You all contribute to strengthening the vibration of the Universe.  You all have purpose and are doing your part, individually, and as a collective.

These times aren’t crazy. They are learning times.  They are discernment times.  Sure, it’s a little overkill, but, as a collective, you all decided to turn up the crazy to amplify the lesson.  You have been followers for too long. What better way to learn to trust yourself than by setting a stage where you trust no one?  The idea of the lesson is to turn inward.  Turn to the truth of you. Turn to yourselves.  Find your truth.  Know, though, that the underlying truth will always be LOVE, the LOVE vibration.  You will know it’s true because you will feel the LOVE.  That is the truth of all.  The truth of the Universe. The truth of your being.  How you find that truth is up to you. It’s your journey.  Though through LOVE will be the easiest way, whatever way you choose will not be wrong.  Free will is free choice.  Choose what works for you.  If you don’t like that choice, choose again.  It’s a lesson.  It’s a journey.  It’s life.
