It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything. Not sure what to say about that. At first it was like I was frozen by the events of the world. How could I post anything not related to what was happening in Minnesota, and what would I even say? Maybe that would have been an ideal time for me to ask the Universe, but I just felt frozen. Then writing became something I didn’t do. I added it to the list of things I don’t do anymore, or for now.

But recently, I’ve been thinking about sharing this writing I did at the end of January where I asked, “Why am ‘I’ here?” Not in general terms, but me specifically — why am “I” here?

I was shocked but also not shocked at this very long inspired answer I received. I shouldn’t be shocked because I wrote a whole book, and I accept this about myself — that it’s something I do. But when I step back from myself and think about these words that pour out of me, I am amazed and on occasion just can’t even process how these words just flow. And how I just keep writing and writing — and with this excerpt below specifically, writing. It’s a long one.

Whether or not I get back to writing on a regular basis, I thought I would follow the urge to at least share this one. When I get an answer for “me,” I know it’s not just for “me” — there are others out in the world, or at least in my group of readers, that it will also apply to.

Get a cup of tea and read on:

You are not here for achievements of goals. To make money or to be successful in a career or to be an inspiration or resource in some way to others for a matter of personal fulfillment. These are ego-related accomplishments. Your ego is part of your earthly experience, but it’s out of control — or more accurately, it’s been taking over control. The ego’s purpose was to balance out the spirit energy with the Earth’s energy — to provide a framework to enable you to have a life of experience. So if you understand your essence is spirit, is pure energy — well, then, you can see there has to be some sort of mechanism to balance the energies of your spirit to enable an earthly experience energy, ergo, the ego.

The ego’s role is to help disseminate information — or let’s say make sense of the Earth experience. It was never intended to control or dictate the terms of the experience. However, humanity lost faith, becoming more and more estranged from spirit — or more specifically from spirit’s role in human form. Mankind felt lost. And the more it felt lost, the more the ego stepped in to balance. So, as the connection with spirit felt less — the ego compensated and felt more. It’s not that it’s balanced, but it has to equal. So the ego’s role expanded to make up this perceived loss in the only way the ego knows how — through earthly, earth-experience, logical tendencies.

The ego can’t do what spirit does; it can only do what it does. Think brain and heart. They both need to function. When the heart/feeling is weak, the brain will overcompensate with logic. It’s not the brain’s fault it doesn’t have emotion. It’s not the heart’s fault it doesn’t have logic. But they do work together. They do help with a balanced experience; they don’t do each other’s job. This is the story of ego and spirit in one body, in one incarnation, in humanity’s consciousness in time.

Many, many are recognizing the imbalance and attempting to bring awareness to the imbalance. We will say, in previous times there was more balance than there is in current times. When times were simpler, the ego was kept at bay. Now the ego is strong, but spirit is making a comeback. The goal (although “goal” is ego-speak) — still, the goal is to re-balance. Balance spirit and ego and you automatically eliminate all — and we mean all — of your frustrations and disappointments. Well, wait — those emotions, frustration and disappointments, still can be experienced during a lifetime, but there is balance. There is letting go. There is understanding and releasing. Not dwelling and spiraling.

Right now, in your life, balance is off. Spirit is strong. Spirit is fighting for survival, for you to remember although Spirit doesn’t actually fight. Spirit is allowing. Ego is doing. You have been doing, doing, doing and have forgotten how to allow. And this is the easiest and hardest lesson of all, because you can’t teach allowing. You can’t do allowing. You have to allow allowing. Doing, tracking, analyzing, logic — it’s strong in you. It’s strong in society. Tracking storms, tracking stocks, tracking statistics, analyzing trends — it’s all brain, it’s all ego, it’s all doing. And you personally LOVE a spreadsheet. You love tasks. You love to be numb to your perceived frustrations.

So your ego is currently scrambling to stay in control. It has been trained to do so. It is eager to show you how to escape unwanted feelings — but escaping feelings only makes them worse. Facing them helps you process, understand, and move on. Although it is the ego’s goal to keep you in a cycle where you return to it for help, the world — your world — is pushing feelings toward your awareness not so you can use the ego to interpret them, but so you can turn to spirit for understanding and release. The earthly experience — which you are able to have through the balance of ego — is meant to be one where you take the crux of the experience, the emotions, and turn them over to spirit for integration, inclusion, and understanding.

So it’s the classic story. What are you going to feed — the ego or the spirit? Now remember, without ego you could not have an earthly experience, so you can’t judge the ego like it’s an unwanted cancer. You have to have ego. But where humanity is now, in consciousness evolution, is it wanting to rebalance, recalibrate. And by extension, where you are now individually, you are also in the process of recalibrating, rebalancing. Each individual on the planet is here working for the same goal — to rebalance. And just like you are seeing on the world stage, where your unwanted feelings are coming to the surface, the world’s unwanted feelings are coming up and out. They are coming up so you can see them, so you can be aware and then let them go. Do not be afraid of what is coming up in the world or in yourselves. You cannot let go of — or make sense of — that which is hidden, that which is pushed down, or that which you can’t see. Let it up, understand why it is coming up, but then let it go.

And of course, letting go is the hardest part of your lived experience when the ego is in control. The ego hangs on for dear life — literally — the ego feels its role is to control. It is not. It is to balance. That is the ego’s role in you and in humanity at large.

So knowing this is a huge step toward letting go, toward allowing. Understanding how it works (ego-driven) will help you let go.

Keep in mind, when you let go out of frustration or disgust or despair or defiance, you are still holding on. You’re letting go with an expectation of a specific result. Real letting go is different. And “real” letting go is another “thing” you can’t really describe. But if we could, we would compare it to a feeling of lightness, of shedding, an aha moment, of release. It’s both hard and it’s easy. You can’t teach it. You have to allow yourself to let go without any thought of what comes next. Let go of trust, let go of faith, let go of any expectation of any kind. That is where your bliss resides. That is where life happens.

Why are YOU here personally? To be a participant in the shift of consciousness. Your life, your daily life, is part of a movement of energy, a movement of awareness. Questioning as you do (as many do) is pivotal to the movement. Not everyone questions or analyzes or takes notes or follows podcasts. Some will just open naturally, but it is also happening because others who do question are helping to bring the concept, the shift, into existence — speaking it into existence, opening awareness.

So do not fret that you question and then feel like you have no answers. You are helping open up the field of no answers, which is the field of Being. You are here to do what you do, to be who you are, and to recalibrate yourself and humanity. Everyone alive now and in the immediate future is here to help recalibrate, to rebalance, to usher in what’s next. You are here, by choice. You are struggling, by choice. Why? So you can let it go, once and for all. Don’t run from the struggle. Face it head on and then allow it to dissipate. Know that is why the struggle or the uncomfortable is in front of you now. The purpose is for you to see and release. Catch and release. Understand it has or had a purpose, and it’s over now. Understand the ego and the Spirit are out of balance, and the ego is doing its part by putting its issues front and center so you can know it’s out of balance — and then turn it over to let it go. The ego is ready for recalibration; it is also ready to take a break and go back to its original intention. The ego is tired of carrying the ball!

You are here for this purpose — to help the recalibration effort of humanity. How you carry that forth in the world is your lived experience. Keep that in mind and also let it go.

Balance — it’s all the rage, it’s what’s trending!

Namaste.

Why I chose the featured tarot cards image:

I’m learning to be a tarot reader now too.  Adding it to my list of Woo.  I pulled the cards shown in my featured image earlier in the week for my weekly read and I realized how it fits this post. Here’s the explanation of the cards as it relates to this particular post:

This spread maps the emotional arc of spiritual recalibration. The 8 of Cups signals a conscious departure from old patterns — a soul choosing to walk toward deeper truth and inner light. The Ace of Pentacles offers divine reassurance: the path of “being” is not empty, but seeded with sacred potential and grounded gifts. The 10 of Swords reflects the mental exhaustion of ego-driven striving, and the invitation to release what no longer serves. Finally, Oonagh – Creative Solutions reminds us that magic, grace, and multidimensional support are woven into the process. Together, these cards affirm that the journey from doing to allowing is not only valid — it’s divinely guided.

The Tarot card deck used is The Light Seers Tarot deck by Chris-Anne. Oonagh is from the deck Sacred Mothers & Goddesses by Claudia Olivos.

As always, if your interested in reading more of my channeled writings you can find that in my book Back to Being.

Thank you for reading.
