Here’s something different… I’m in a good mood.
It’s a curious thing, too, because I just got home from being with family in San Francisco yesterday, and today I had to go to work. I went from sweatshirts to sweating. It is really hot here in Pittsburgh and I was super busy catching up at work after being out for 10 days. But you know what? It wasn’t bad.
It’s hot—but not ridiculous, at least to me. I’m only outside long enough to get to the subway stop, which is oddly cool (as in AC cool). Then, of course, the trains are always freezing, and work is freezing, so I wear a jacket in the office.
Anyway, on my way home from work while on the train, I was thinking, “Huh, I’m actually not in a bad mood!”
I made a vow last week, after writing last week’s blog, that there would be no more of this “woe is me” kind of stuff. And maybe you don’t find it “woe is me,” but I do.
Look at that—even that is a “woe is me” statement. Get it?
Well, no more. Let’s go with something fun.
Ummmmm…
And here I am again. I got nuthin’.
Dammit.
Okay, then let’s revert to my “living in my head” stuff.
My big dream at the moment is to undertake some major traveling that involves short-term leasing—across the pond (i.e., Europe). I want to spend a couple of days in London, then maybe 4 days in Glastonbury to visit King Arthur. Then, a train ride up to Edinburgh, Scotland. (According to AI, that would be a beautifully scenic trip.)
Then another train from Edinburgh to Inverness—thinking about 10 days to explore Scotland.
Then, a weekend in Dublin to visit a friend.
And then, 3–6 months (short-term lease) in southern France. Right now, I’m feeling drawn to Rennes-le-Château.
Get this—I was noodling with AI on where I wanted to be in France. I landed on Rennes-le-Château, then mentioned getting a book to learn more about the area. I walked to my bookshelf… and found a book called Rennes-le-Château. It was my mom’s. (a sign maybe?)
I had told my mom that when I turned 50, we would go to the South of France and tour the Black Madonna and Mary Magdalene sites together.
But she lost her eyesight, and… well, it never came to pass.
That’s the bad thing about living in your head. It can also be very, very depressing when you want something so badly and it doesn’t come to pass.
But maybe my touring of southern France just hasn’t come to pass yet. And maybe it would not have been fun with my mom. And maybe it’s still on the docket for this life. Regardless, it’s back in my head. It’s the dream. It’s what I want to happen next in my life.
I’m giving myself until the end of this year—with the plan to quit my job and head on out.
But then, logistics:
The end of the year, well, it’s winter, and I don’t think that’s the best time for sightseeing and travel.
So do I wait until April? Or next fall? Do I want my six months in France to be in the spring, summer or fall? and what about Scotland? I mean it’s cold there, right? Maybe I need to reverse direction as to the order of visits.
And money to pay for it? Honestly even though I don’t have two nickels to rub together, that’s the least of my concerns. That’s one thing I do believe in. When it’s meant to happen it will happen, regardless of money.
But even when living in my head, I still have to figure out logistics.
Is there even a question for the Universe in all this rambling?
Let’s ask AI to come up with one.
And here’s what AI came up with:
Q: What do I need to believe or release in order to turn my dreams into a lived reality?
And here’s what the channeling had to say:
Well, this is some fun stuff. And herein lies the meaning—or more succinctly, the secret of how to live your life.
It’s not a secret. It’s the way. The way to be.
Living in your head is what everyone should do—from cradle to grave. You come up with the dream, and then let it take shape, let it live and evolve. Let it stretch or shrink, come to fruition or fade.
Sometimes the dream will shape-shift:
Maybe it starts as London–Scotland–Dublin–France, but ends as Santa Fe–Montana–a riverboat cruise in British Columbia.
The places may change. The essence doesn’t.
Because what you truly crave is adventure, enlightenment, spiritual awakening. France is simply the setting, in your imagination, that calls it forth.
While you’re imagining it, the Universe is already planning it—working the best months, the best cities, the best ways to make it real. It could happen exactly as you are imagining, planning a serene retreat in Glastonbury only to be rerouted to a thunderstorm in Dublin with a lesson wrapped in soggy socks. But do not worry, the planning department knows exactly how to make your dreams come true.
So dream boldly.
When someone says, “You’re dreaming,” take it as affirmation.
Say, “You’re exactly right.”
Because dreaming sets the coordinates.
Be excited. Be surprised. Be confident.
and Let it be.

And AI wraps it up with:
Blog Summary: “The Planning Department of the Universe”
This week’s post is a celebration of dreaming—not as escapism, but as sacred direction. Lynn reflects on her vibrant vision for European travel, spiritual reconnection, and living with soul-led spontaneity. And through channeling, she receives a gentle reminder: dreaming is not just allowed—it’s essential.
The Universe, as she now imagines it, is not passive. It’s busy behind the scenes arranging possibilities, adjusting timelines, and aligning experiences based on her heartfelt desires—not just destinations, but feelings: freedom, adventure, spiritual awakening.
This blog encourages readers to:
- Spend time imagining their ideal life—without rushing the “how”
- Trust that the shape of the dream may shift, but its essence will be honored
- Understand that sometimes the journey reroutes to Santa Fe or a train through the Rockies, and it’s still perfect
- Reclaim “you’re dreaming” as a compliment, not a criticism
Because when we dream, we’re not doing nothing. We’re sending coordinates to the Universe. And somewhere in its cosmic planning department, the adventure is already underway.
I am dreaming boldly, with trust.
My dream may shape, shift, and surprise me.
And it will meet me with magic.
